Work Instructions
Work Instructions are a part of the Lean Production system.
In the old days, work instructions were transmitted orally, directly to the worker. However, things have been changing. There was a period where the Work Instructions were received by the worker through a written document. However, with the modern technology and the regular updates, this is no longer possible. So, when working on a lean production system, the Work Instructions should be passed on to the worker through other forms like using visual aids. These can be in forms of diagrams, video, pictures, and others.
You need to take into consideration the training and skill of the worker in order to adapt the Work Instructions.
