Six Sigma
Six Sigma is one of the most known processes to improve methods. This methodology was pioneered by Bill Smith, a Motorola engineer,
Six Sigma main goal is to improve the processes inside an organization. It uses statistics in order to achieve a high-quality level. The Six Sigma key elements are:
- A structured problem-solving approach using the DMAIC or DFSS
- An organizational structure that should include the Green Belts, Black Belts, Master Black Belts, and Champion.
Nowadays, many different companies are using the Six Sigma approach in more projects but smaller ones. These smaller projects are usually led by Green Belts instead of Black Belts.
