SIPOC Diagrams
SIPOC (Supplier Inputs Outputs and Customers) Diagrams are used many times in Six Sigma. The SIPOC Diagram is usually created during the Define or the Measure stage of the Six Sigma project. The main goal of using such a diagram is to make sure that all the suppliers, inputs, outputs, process, and customers are well identified and are agree by all the members of the team. It can also help define a more complex project that might not be well scoped.
Since the SIPOC Diagrams contain so much detail they are many times called as high-level process maps.
