5Z
The 5Z is the standard that defines the "5Z Accreditation" procedure. The 5Z uses the Genba Kanri principles and it's a way to maintain, evaluate, promote, and improve the process control.
The 5Z represent 5 different actions:
- Uketorazu - Don't accept any defects
- Tsukurazu - Don't make any defects
- Baratsukasazu - Don't create any variation
- Kurikaesazu - Don't repeat any mistakes
- Nagasaku - Don't supply any defects.
The ultimate goal with the 5Z methodology is to eliminate any defects and errors that might occur during the process that will prevent the organization to reach the optimum performance. And in order to achieve this, the process control is crucial.
